So...let's get to it:
The Good Stuff:
I moved to the city. I love my new place. The kitchen is big, and well finished. I have a room for my projector now (no windows) and a seperate room for my computer. My bedroom is big and I also have my own bathroom. This house is exactly what I wanted.
It's summer! I'm really pleased about that because san fran is always a lil' chilly up here on this hill.
Some other good stuffs:
I got the position at work that I was shooting for.I was able to write my own job description for this job. It's a very good feeling. the way i see it: it's easy to sell yourself and your ideas to people who don't know you. It's an entirely different issue to sell yourself and your ideas to tyhose who 'do' know you. I'm pleased that my company gave me what i want after this first year. Things are good at work :)
The Bad Stuff:
My car was stolen. I don't want to replace my car with a newer one. That was a great buy at a great price from a reliable owner (friend). That car suited all my needs. Now that I'm used to driving that car I'd rather not settle for something that is (potentially) unreliable.
I messed up my neck really badly. I think I have been pushing it a lil too hard when i work out. I need to take it easy.
The Bright Side
Now that I have no car I don't have to pay for gas. It's also harder for me to be impulsive.
I've noticed that every since I've had my own car I've planned less and allowed myself to be a lil' more lazy. Now; when I go somewhere or do something I'll have to be more more proactive. this is a good thing, and I miss it.
I can use the profit sharing and Tomb raider bonus cheques for savings. I don't need to buy a car immediatly.
On the train I can read. I miss having the time to read.
