First Post!

Okay so...This is my first entry.

Last night I had a cool realization, so here it is:

When I work on my portfolio, I do it like my life depended on it. But I don't work like that for any of my employers. I guess deep down...I don't give a shit if someone else makes money by leveraging my hard work.

I'm either making good money and fucking miserable, or....I have freedom and make chump change.

"excuse me Mr. Patel would you like to have your finger smashed or a swift kick in the nuts?"

So I guess my typical response is: find a way to make awesome work and then show someone and get a better job.

Well...im gunna try something different...

I'm gunna try and make something with my employers that I love so much I would want to market it as my portfolio. As if everything I wished for was conditional upon the quality ofd the 3d modled pine tree I made today. if that was the case, I would have made a better pine tree today.
